Kristen Stewart Prepares to Play Princess Diana in the Upcoming Movie Spencer

K-Stew will be playing Princess Diana in her forthcoming film Spencer, she explained. Jimmy Kimmel asked the actress what it was like to step into the shoes of one of the most respected figures in the history of the world, and Kristen Stewart explained how while she “did not grow up” with her, she feels a connection to the Princess. Kristen was telling Jimmy Kimmel that she was very young when Princess passed away. Kristen, who was seven at the time, went on, adding that she remembers the fields of flowers in front of Buckingham Palace in honor of the “people’s princess.” “It happened so quickly,” the actress went on. “I did not realize what is going on,” Kristen said. “She was so young,” the Twilight star went on. Kristen announced that the shooting of the movie Spencer is planned to start at the beginning of 2021.

The film will only explore a part of Diana’s life, focusing on three days where Diana realizes it is time to end a relationship with Prince Charles during a Christmas at Queen Elizabeth’s Sandringham estate in the 90s.
