Kristen Stewart on the Cover of InStyle Magazine November 2020 Issue

Kristen Stewart appeared on the front page of the latest InStyle magazine. For the magazine’s November issue, Kristen poses in a bright red jacket by Christopher John Rogers, which was shot by Olivia Malone and styled by Rebecca Ramsey. In the provided spread, Kristen models the look by Brandon Maxwell, Michael Kors Collection, Proenza Schouler, Bottega Veneta, and, of course, Chanel.

Clea DuVall, who directed the “Happiest Season,” interviewed Kristen Stewart via Zoom. The two discuss everything from quarantine pastimes to practicing Princess Diana’s accent to being a “frustrated optimist” – someone who nevertheless believes that the nation of the world “cannot be as terrible as this,” per Stewart. Kristen then touches on why she’s drawn to playing queer characters: “By default, I represent what I stand for. I do think it is important that we step into different roles and other people’s shoes in order to expand ourselves, albeit not ever taking up space for people who should be telling their own stories.” Stewart even mentions her changing lockdown uniform – at times, it meant putting on whole outfits as if she had someplace to go, while at others, it meant sporting sets. “There was a time when I only desired to put on shit that was once matching,” she told DuVall. “I have a leopard-print outfit thing that is fun to wear around the house.”
