Zendaya’s Mother Responds to Euphoria Star and Tom Holland Engagement News

Claire Stoermer, Zendaya’s mom, addressed untrue rumors that Tom Holland, her longtime boyfriend, is Zendaya’s fiancé.

Following internet rumors that the couple had advanced their relationship, Zendaya and Holland quickly became viral.

The mother of the Euphoria actor posted a screenshot of a note that defined “clickbait” on her Instagram Story on Wednesday.

The quote was taken from the marketing software website CoSchedule and stated, “Basically, clickbait is writing sensationalized or misleading headlines to get people to click.” It frequently relies on making exaggerated claims or omitting crucial details to increase traffic.

In addition, Stoermer left out any explanation or response to her cryptic post.

After rumors that the Spider-Man: No Way Home couple was prepared to “settle down,” Zendaya and Holland, both 26 years old, became the subject of engagement rumors. Zendaya and Holland were reportedly thinking about getting married and starting a family, according to a post from the verified Twitter account PrettyLittleThing from back in November. After collaborating on two sequels, Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019) and Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021), Zendaya and Holland first appeared onscreen in the 2017 film Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Currently, Zendaya is busy filming the upcoming Dune sequel.
