Lily Collins Shares Plot Details for a Third Season of “Emily in Paris”

Lily Collins shares information about Emily in Paris, her popular Netflix series, in a cover story for the January 2023 edition of Marie Claire Australia. The Lancôme ambassador and daughter of Phil Collins and his second wife, Jill Tavelman, made her acting debut at age two in the BBC series Growing Pains. Lily Collins received critical acclaim for her performance opposite Sandra Bullock in 2009’s The Blind Side. Soon after, she began landing leading lady parts in The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, “Mirror Mirror,” Love, Rosie, and the Les Misérables television adaptation. However, Emily in Paris is what gave her superstar status. The third season Emily in Paris, is set to debut the next week, and Collins responds by saying, “I can tell you that she stays in Paris… umm, can I say that?” That should be pretty obvious from the teaser, she says after pausing and tilting her head.

“I can tell you that it begins with her being caught in the middle in many different ways,” Lily continued. She’s still culturally stuck between France and America. In terms of her jobs and bosses, she is caught between two possible paths and emotionally torn (romantically) between Gabriel and Alfie. Ah, now we’re getting to the juicy stuff. Season three continues Emily’s love triangle from season two. But despite my insistence, the actress is careful not to give away who will Emily ultimately ends up with. In addition, Lily loves the new season, and according to her, Emily has started making decisions and following through on them. She has followed her heart and allowed the results to be what they are. Because she feels more at ease making decisions and speaking up, she has much more realistic experiences in Paris. Of course, there are more jokes, drama, and fashion. In the third season, everything seems more refined.
