Dua Lipa is the Cover Star for the June/July 2022 Edition of Vogue Magazine

Dua Lipa graced the front cover of Vogue‘s June/July 2022 issue and talked about her origins, and her ex-boyfriend Anwar Hadid, among other things. She told Vogue that she feels a deep connection to Kosovo, which has been a scene of conflicts near the end of the 20th century. Dua, whose name means love in Albanian, stands out not only because of her fantastic figure and songs but also for how she uses her influence as a celebrity, wrote Vogue. The pop star says her close relationship with the Kosovar community helped her succeed: “They gave me so much support and believed in me when no one else did, so I try to push other people to achieve the same.” She added that she is always “on the side of oppressed people,” as demonstrated by her work advocating for refugee rights, LGBTQ rights, and gender equality. Dua Lipa said, among many other things, that after her split from Anwar – the younger brother of popular models Bella and Gigi Hadid – she is now focusing on herself and her career.
